The Advanced Fire Service Interface

This is an example of icons which might be used in an improved fire service interface. The intent is to have a small set of easily recognized icons which will scale from the complex (CRT or projection) displays to intermediate (laptop) screens to palm-sized displays of cell phones and personal digital assistants. The follow is a minimum set, and is for discussion purposes. The first choice in each row is the simpler and more unique; if there is a second symbol, it is a proposed alternative. Comments on these symbols, need for additional symbols, or preference on which is better in the case of two or more, would be appreciated.
